What an amazing experience! We had a great time! I started the raced. Running threw the confetti and just the feeling you had being with all those people was priceless - so many stories and hard work. In the beginning the music was playing and everyone was running together to the same beat. I can't explain how awesome it was! I am so thankful that God has blessed me with good health so I can do the things I do. I look forward to running the half next year! I encourage everyone to join me. It is a great benefit and a priceless experience!
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

Frosty Merry Mile
Jimmie and I took the girls to run the Frosty Merry Mile this weekend. It was great fun! Emma did great! She said she is ready to run a 5K. I told her I would train with her and we could do it in the spring! I love to see her get so excited about running! And, she is so good at it. Laney ran with Jimmie and made it to the finish line. Daddy had to carry her a couple times, but those little 3 year old legs did a great job! This was Emma's second race and Laney's first. It was cold, but so fun! Wish you all could have been there to see!

Happy Thanksgiving!
What a great day to remember how fortunate we are and how God has blessed our lives fully! We had a very blessed day! We love you all and are very blessed to have each one of you in our lives! We miss you!
We spent the evening at Kara and Rick's house! They we kind enough to move dinner to their house since I had the Turkey Trot during the morning. It made it a very relaxing afternoon for me...but, not for Kara, I'm sure! We had an awesome dinner and a great time with the family. We even got to see Garett for a little bit. The girls had a great time and were so glad that Grandma was here!!!

Turkey Trot
Today we started our Thanksgiving by joining 30,000+ in the annual Turkey Trot! It was my first race and it was awesome!! I completed the full 8 miles! Yea!! I loved it! And, of course I had my biggest fans cheering me on! Thanks J, E, and L! Our friend Michael (of Michael and Jennifer...neighborhood, life group, etc.) joined me to help show me the ropes. Thank goodness! I would have been lost. :) It was a great start to a great day!
On our way to City Hall to start the race.
About half way
Getting ready to cross the finish line!
Yea! Mommy did it!!!

Emma's Thanksgiving Special!
What a great time! The kids did a little Thanksgiving performance and then had a feast. She was a pilgrim! It was so cute! I can't believe how big she is getting!
They also had the kids all color pictures of what they are thankful for and they recorded them saying what they are thankful for...Emma drew a pic of us and said she was thankful for her mom! I am thankful for you, too peanut! That makes all we do worth while!

My lil fashion queen!
If you can't see, Laney is wearing a leotard, tutu, tights and purple socks! I wish you all could see her! She goes through about 10-15 different outfits a day. It's cute, but not fun for mom when it comes to laundry and dressing her in something appropriate for school, church, outside, etc. We think she may be our lil designer. Pray for us and her teen years. Ug!
Happy Birthday to me!
I had a great birthday! Jimmie went to my Ultimate Conditioning class with me, I took a long nap, our dear friends, Janelle, Jeff and the boys, came over for my favorite meal and then Alyssa (from our teen life group in KC) drove in from ACU to surprise me!!! It was so great to see her! Thanks Alyssa! You are awesome! It was a great day!
